Job Description
The Sales Origination Development Manager reports to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of strategic origination sales teams that will partner with Swell Energy to build the next generation of our electrical grid. The ideal candidate for this role will understand how to recruit and manage these independent sales orgs to resell Swell’s Finance offers for solar, storage, and grid services programs. Building sticky relationships that last and deliver measured volume achievement goals will be paramount. The Sales Origination Development Manager will report to the VP of Sales.
This is a CA based remote position and will require an individual that is self-motivated, well organized, and excellent verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify/recruit potential individuals and teams that will originate sales contracts on behalf of Swell. Recruit, onboard Sales organizations (individuals and teams) scale Swell's Finance Reseller channel program
- Onboard and train the approved teams
- Develop ongoing relationship programs to assure long term success
- Help maintain / implement and train partners to increase awareness of Swells products and services
- Drive partner wallet share of sales through ongoing support both remote and field
- Identify and develop “new” partnership opportunities
- Develop KPIs to manage partner success, including regular score cards,
- Minimize attrition of partners
- Consistent Reporting to management individual and overall sales org performance
- Make recommendations on promotions and additional services to increase volume
- Travel up to 50% of the time
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of solar experience in solar channel development preferably finance/origination team development
- Experience building Sales teams, training programs and materials
- Experience with G-Suite and Salesforce
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to enthusiastically work within constantly changing priorities
- 4 Year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Highly entrepreneurial
- Ability to self-motivate and work in an independent remote environment
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Compensation:
$125k - $140k Annually
