The Utility Administration Specialist is technical savvy, driven, and passionate about making an impact on the future of clean energy in the US. You have a history of proven success and excel at breaking down complete problems in order to deliver solutions. This role requires someone who is independent, can work from a variety of locations when needed, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is willing to go the extra mile for customers.
The preferred candidate has experience in the preparation and review of utility interconnection and incentives requests
Monitor project progress and problem solve projects that may run into setbacks
Prepares and submits documents for utility interconnection, utility rebate programs, and Grid Services enrollment within Service Level Agreement
Processes, monitors and follows up on the rebate reservation and payment, as well as the interconnection approval process within Service Level Agreement
Becomes a subject matter expert in assigned markets on all interconnection/incentive program requirements and processes and serves as a resource for internal stakeholders
Proactively identifies program requirement changes and potential risks
Utility Interconnection/Grid Services Responsibilities
Monitor, manage and process case tickets relevant to interconnection, incentives and grid services.
Communicate with utilities, partners and customers to resolve escalations for resolution to unique corrections that are beyond the scope of the submissions team.
Track process improvements and help develop continuous improvement strategy
Ensure all stakeholders/departments are following up and submitting required paperwork in a timely manner
Ensure Swell project management platforms updated routinely
Organize and maintain customer accounts and related documents
Incentives Programs Responsibilities
Respond to manager and other internal stakeholders requesting Incentive Program status updates
Monitor SGIP risk reports and expiration dates
Work with Swell Ops team members to ensure expiration timelines are being met
Ensure Swell CRM tasks are in current stage
2+ years of relevant job experience in the Solar industry
Demonstrates success with solution oriented support augmented with high energy and a positive attitude
Organized and self-motivated: able to successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities and projects
Good computer skills: MS Suite, G-Suite, Excel and CRM Software (e.g. Salesforce)
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail
Strong time-management skills
Motivated team player, positive attitude, dedicated
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Compensation: $53,000- $55,000 (annually)
